Rotor & Armature Sub-Assembly

Fully automated 18-operation assembly lines delivering ready-to-mount automotive alternators.

Value-Added Sub-Assembly Lines

To provide finished modules directly to our Tier-1 customers, Srimukha operates semi-automated sub-assembly lines. By assembling components in-house, we ensure quality control and reduce logistics complexity for our customers.

Assembly Line Equipment

Our sub-assembly line features sequence-controlled press, testing, and tracking equipment:

Assembly Process Workflow

The process begins with stator insertion (OP 05). The rotor shaft is pressed into the rotor core using a servo press (OP 40). Bearings and slip rings are pressed and soldered. The assembly undergoes dynamic balancing. Electrical continuity and insulation tests are conducted before laser marking a trace tag.
“Our sub-assembly lines produce 2,000 alternator and motor rotors daily, running sequence-controlled Poka-Yoke systems to prevent assembly errors.”

Traceability & Quality Assurance

Every assembly is tracked by a unique serial code. Press forces, soldering temperatures, balancing metrics, and electrical test data are logged in a database. Output parameters are verified on automated testing fixtures before packaging.
